One of the highlights of South Tourism Festival is the search for Ginoong Turismo 2008.  Our objective in holding Ginoong Turismo 2008 is to find a suitable representative to help promote adventure and sports tourism.  We aim to find a young man who possesses not only charm and wit but also physical strength and agility.  Also, Ginoong Turismo 2008 is not just a contest.  It intends to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters.  Through its partnership with Asenso Pinoy Foundation, proceeds of this pageant will go to the poor families in Cagayan Valley.

Ginoong Turismo 2008 aims to:

• offer a venue where young Filipino men from 18 to 25 years old can grow personally in poise, confidence, goal-setting, public speaking and communication skills, physical fitness, and self-discipline.
• help the less fortunate in the community through livelihood and outreach programs as part of the Ginoong Turismo 2008 program in partnership with Asenso Pinoy Foundation
• provide a positive alternative to the many destructive activities that lures our young Filipinos today.

Qualifications:

- male, 18 to 25 years old

- at least 5'7 in height

- good looking and have good physique

- energetic and agile
